What is the Mighty Assemble & In-Ground Installation?
We design, build and assemble every Mighty Swings Play System. Every playground project has an average shop time of 4 to 8 hours. The on-site installation at your home or business has an average of 2 to 4 hours. Our In-Ground installation consists of 4' x 4' posts that are four feet in length. With the combination of an auger and a post hole digger we dig a hole at an average of two feet and lay cement. Two feet of the post will be submerged underground and the other two feet will remain above ground that will attach to your structure's post. In-Ground installation secures and gives your system the strength and stability you will need once movement is in motion. Also, with this system the in-grounded post would be able to un-attach without compromising the main post on the play system itself. This will allow for the breaking down and moving process if you need to relocate it. The lumber itself is heavy duty construction and this in-ground process will compliment and reinforce it's stability!

What is the Mighty Swings Play System Design Process?
Design is the first step! At our drawing table we incorporate features that prioritizes safety first. We add in multifunctional components to every space possible. Great design combined with a focus on what children's dreams are made of is at the heart of what we do here at Mighty Swings Play Systems. From our blueprints to your playground site we construct quality playground equipment that will be durable and beautiful to your landscape and perfect for all your Mighty Swing adventures. What kind of wood does Mighty Swings Play Systems use?
Mighty Swings Play Systems are constructed with Southern Yellow Pine. The lumber is pressure-treated lumber ready for ground-contact specifications. It is made here in the USA and is environmentally sound. It is Certified safe for Playground Equipment Use. Upon each individual sale, your order is placed in production and your playground project is custom prepared to meet your order. Using our expertise we prepare the proper cut specifications and pre-drill recessed holes for our Industrial Grade Hardware. Then with our unique milling process, every edge and corner is routered to our 3/8” extreme and we sand every exposed surface to Mighty Swings perfection! This milling process will convert hard square edges into rounded off edges. In addition, we plane, route, sand, cut, drill every board for maximum safety and quality. Compared to redwood or cedar, our wood will be stronger, and last as longer. In living green conscious; it is product made from our environments natural resources and will respond to our environment naturally as well!
What maintenance is necessary?
Mighty Swings recommends that you pressure wash and water seal your play system every two years. You may use a sanding block to smooth over any splinters if you should get too closely to the wood while power washing. Then, apply a water seal that will help condition and preserve the natural wood colorization. The maintenance suggested is for cosmetic appeal and will help to extend the overall life of the play product. This is suggested if your play system is set in a wooded or open sun-exposed area alike. Any wood or metal product exposed to our natural elements will need maintenance so please do not allow others to sell you otherwise. What if my family or business moves locations: Could we bring our Mighty Swings Play System?
Mighty Swings offers a Relocation Services with any of our play systems from one location to another within our service areas. If you are relocating outside of our service time or area, please feel free to contact us and we will be glad to assist you in the best way possible and be available for any questions or advice. Relocation Service fees will apply. No nails are used in the construction of our playsets aiding in the relocation construction. Relocations are available when our schedule permits and it is always a great idea to coordinate and book this at least 1 month in advance. Please keep communications open with your Mighty Swings representative to avoid any same-day cancellations due to your schedules to avoid cancellations service fees on your part. May we "Add-On" to our existing Mighty Swings Play System?
How Fitting! Yes, all children do one thing, grow. And as Birthday’s come you may choose to see our Accessories section to see the many Slides, Swings, Accessory and unlimited Add-On and Free Standing units options. You may desire to add-on a rock-wall, monkey bars, or other free-standing units like more swings or a dedicated tire swing beam.
Un-Level Terrain: Should we level the ground before our Mighty Swings Play System installation?
No, the great thing about our In-Ground installation service is that we can accommodate any landscaping challenge. We can adjust the in-ground concrete footers to level out the play system! We can also get creative with a play plank and create a bridge to connect the walk-out over a low terrain area that leads the children into their play fort. We love a design challenge and will provide you lots of choices.
We are ready to Buy: what's the process now?
Once a client decides on the play system they are interested in we will work with them individually to customize the set to meet their needs and budget. We will then schedule the delivery date for on-site delivery and set-up. For your added convenience, we accept all major credit cards, check or cash for method of payment forms.
Does Mighty Swings offer a warranty on my Play System?
Mighty Swings warrants all accessories for two years from date of purchase and we will repair or replace, at our option, any part which is defective due to materials or workmanship. Normal wear and tear are excluded. Pick up will be no charge; however delivery or installation fees will apply where applicable. All Pressure Treated Wood has a Lifetime Warranty against decay or damage from termites or rot. Please refer to your Sales invoice to see the full terms and conditions of the Warranty.
Would having Underground utilities Sprinkler System or the like delay our installation?
Mighty Swings will dig approximate four feet underground to install 4' x 4' posts that attach to the play system where deemed necessary to compliment strength, stability, and to aid us in accommodating any un-level terrain. Upon scheduling your Mighty Swings installation, we recommend that you call Georgia Utilities Protection Center out of Duluth at 811 or 1-800-282-7411 (Georgia Statewide) to notify and to request your playground site to be marked. This one call system is no charge and is funded by the utilities companies and acts as a non-profit organization to aid you a safe way to “Call before you Dig.” It is the responsibility of the homeowner or business owner to ensure that your play area does not have any underground utilities, sprinkler system or the like. Mighty Swings cannot be held responsible for any damages done due to digging.
What method of payment does Mighty Swings Play Systems accept?
For your payment convenience, we accept all major credit cards, check, or cash. We have a secure electronic ACH choice you may utilize through your emailed invoice.
Where does Mighty Swings manufacture the Mighty Swings Play Systems?
We have a 2,500 square foot Warehouse facility located n Buford, Georgia. In-house we manufacture every Mighty Swings Play System. No middle man is a savings we pass on to you. Every playground project has an average shop time of 4 to 8 hours. The on-site installation at your home or business has an average of 2 to 4 hours.
Do you build Playground Borders or add ground surfacing around play systems?
Yes, you may wish to purchase a border and our safety surfacing. This is a great way to define your play area and contain the safety surface materials used to keep kids safe from fall zones. Our border is designed to blend in seamlessly into your playground's environment. Add value and definition to your landscape with our different size border options. Do we have to add a playground Border and surfacing around our residential swing set?
It is not necessary to add a border. The most important aspect to provide is safety around any fall zone areas. We would suggest that if you don't plan on not installing a border you could explore other alternatives for safety prevention. For example, you could invest in rubber play mats and add soft ground surface material like mulch around the safety zones. Example; place at the end of slides, under the swings, and around play forts. We suggest no landscaping equipment around the structure; contact will result in possible damages. Instruct lawn caregivers not to lift the slides and not to edge, mow or trim around slides or other areas close to your play system. Children should always be within arms-reach and well supervised. Children should wear proper safety gear while playing on any outdoor play equipment and this is a great recommendation to keep at heart.
